Clinical Supervision for Counsellors and Psychotherapists
I offer Clinical Supervision for Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I have completed my CPCAB Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision.
I see supervision as not only giving you an opportunity to talk through your work with an experienced therapist, but as a space where you can explore your own process around what is happening in the counselling relationship. I will also encourage you to develop a greater awareness of your personal feelings and responses to client work.
I aim to support and encourage you in your practice, but also to sensitively challenge you when necessary. I believe that all these aspects are important, to enhance your work with clients.
I am happy to work creatively in supervision, if it is something you would find helpful, as this can often bring a deeper level of awareness to the supervision work.
I use the Seven – Eyed Process Model of supervision in my work, as it provides an effective way of looking at all aspects of client and supervision work.
I qualified in 2015 and trained in the Person-Centred Approach. I now consider myself to work in a more Pluralistic way, by offering clients choices regarding working with different counselling approaches. I am familiar with the Connections Integrative Model taught by the Devon and Cornwall Counselling Hub, for those therapists who have trained locally.
I offer an initial free thirty-minute session, for us to meet and talk together, to help you decide if you would like to start working with me as your supervisor. I offer in-person sessions or online sessions via Zoom.
Fees – I charge £45 for an hour and £65 for an hour and a half (I offer student rates at £35 an hour)
BACP Accreditation – I provide support for people undertaking this process. I give bespoke, ad hoc sessions to help you write clearly about your clinical practice in relation to the accreditation requirements and charge my hourly supervision rate for this service.
